City of Reno offices closed for Independence Day on July 4

City of Reno administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of Independence Day. City of Reno recreation facilities will also be closed on July 4, with the exception of Idlewild Pool and Traner Pool, which will operate at their normal scheduled hours. More information can be found at Reno.gov/ParksandRec.

The Reno Police Department (RPD) advises the public of available phone and online reporting options. For emergencies requiring police, fire, or medical response, residents should call or text 9-1-1. For non-emergency assistance from Dispatch, the number to call is 775-334-COPS (2677). Online reports can be submitted by visiting RenoPD.com and clicking on "File a Report."

The Reno Fire Department reminds residents that the use of any fireworks in Reno and Washoe County is illegal and unsafe.
