North Valleys High School had the highest enrollment among Washoe County schools, welcoming 2,302 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Of all the students enrolled, 52.2% of them were boys, and 47.8% were girls.

Data also showed that the majority of students were Hispanic, making up 51% of North Valleys High School's total enrollment.

Among the 119 schools in Washoe County, Edward C. Reed High School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 2,119 students, while Procter R. Hug High School welcomed 2,091 students and ranked third in the 2023-24 school year.

North Valleys High School is part of Washoe County School District, which roughly covers schools within Washoe County and has a main office in Reno.

In the previous school year, North Valleys High School also had the highest number of students among Washoe County schools.

Nevada's educational system ranked third-lowest in the U.S. for educational quality, student outcomes, and overall school safety, only ahead of Louisiana and Arizona, according to an analysis from the World Population Review.
