The Reno, Nevada, Fire Department is seeking assistance from the public to find the person responsible for setting a series of fires in the city.

The suspect allegedly started four small brush fires near South Virginia Street and Plumb Lane and then burned pallets and some equipment behind RESCO, at 401 E. Plumb, according to a July 26 press release.

“Call the Reno Fire Department at 775-334-2300 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900 if you have any information or can identify the person in the photos,” the release stated. “It is crucial that we all cooperate in order to apprehend this person.’

The first fires were set on the evening of July 22 between 5:50 and 11:30 p.m., according to the release. Another fire was started at 6:20 p.m. July 24 when some brush was set ablaze in front of the HOPES Clinic, located in the 500 block of West 5th Street.

On July 25 at approximately 5:30 p.m. three separate fires were started on South McCarran, between Talbot and Lakeside drives, the release stated.
