Of the 246,500 citizens living in Reno in 2019, 194,124 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 96,445 of those people were female and 97,679 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
