Cost of college went down for all students at the Milan Institute of Cosmetology-Reno

Tuition and fees fell 1.1 percent for 2018-19 at the Milan Institute of Cosmetology-Reno, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Nevada students paid $15,287 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $168 less than the $15,455 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 67 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 115 students received grants or scholarships totaling $430,302 and 129 students took out student loans totaling more than $649,085.

Including all undergraduates (156), 140 students used grants or scholarships totaling $521,098, and 150 students took out $767,961 in federal student loans.
