There were 1,638 Black students enrolled in Washoe County School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.1% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Data showed that Washoe County School District welcomed 61,171 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 2.7% of the student body to be the third least represented ethnicity in the district.
