During a political rally in Reno, former President Donald Trump told residents to “get out and vote” and support his mission to “rescue our nation from a failed and corrupt political establishment.”
“From the very beginning of this journey, I have been on a mission to rescue our nation from a failed and corrupt political establishment, and it is corrupt,” Trump said during a rally in Reno on October 11. “And to give you back the country that you believe in, the country that you were born in, and the country that you deserve, and we’re going to do it.”
“In that mission I will never quit, I will never bend, I will never break, and I will never yield, not even in the face of death itself,” said Trump. “I am only asking you for one thing: Vote. Get out and vote.”
Trump has survived two assassination attempts in 2024. The first occurred during a July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania where the president was grazed by a bullet on his ear. The second occurred on September 15 when a man with a rifle was apprehended on the golf course where the president was golfing.
