There were 724 American Indian or Alaskan Native students enrolled in Washoe County School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5.1% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Data showed that Washoe County School District welcomed 61,171 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, American Indian or Alaskan Native students comprised 1.2% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.
