What: Washoe County School District (WCSD) Superintendent Susan Enfield will hold the first Town Hall meeting with students, families and the community. Dr. Enfield will be joined by members of the Board of Trustees.

Details: Town Hall gatherings provide an opportunity for students, families and members of the community to meet with Superintendent Enfield and Trustees, share their input and ask questions. Establishing a trusting relationship, listening to members of the community, learning about their concerns and providing accurate, timely information are critical parts of the district’s mission to serve children and families in Washoe County.
Future Town Hall meetings will be scheduled throughout the school year, providing an opportunity for consistent and meaningful communication between the district and the community.
Community engagement is a key component of Superintendent Enfield’s Entry Plan, which was accepted by the Board of Trustees at a public meeting earlier this month.
Spanish interpretation will be provided at all Town Hall meetings.
