Based on a 2021-Gallup Employee Engagement Survey, approximately 36% of US employees are considered engaged (involved) at work. This means that more than half of US employees are less engaged or not engaged at all at work. The reasons for the lack of engagement vary; however, employees often cite reasons such as lack of appreciation, the boss does not have empathy, feeling undervalued, poor leadership and the list goes on.

Emotionally intelligent leadership is one component to address the lack of employee engagement. The training will address emotional intelligence as a foundation for effective leadership, leading with empathy, addressing employees’ motivational needs, and the development of a work environment where individual employees can thrive and enhance organizational effectiveness. Join us for this upcoming Chamber EDU workshop with N. Jonas Ohrberg, PhD, with Adams and Associates and get the tools you need to build and rebuild a workplace culture that centers on emotional intelligence.
