Reown Children’s Hospital issued the following announcement on June 11.
Emilio was born premature at 28 weeks in November, 2020. He spent nearly six months in the NICU and PICU at Renown Children’s Hospital. His family is so happy now that he’s home!
His mom, Edna, says “Emilio is trached and vent dependent but ALIVE and thriving. The nurses did such an amazing job educating us and helping us from the beginning, which in turn has given us the confidence to care for him at home. Doctors in both units were so attentive and always gave us their time and listened to our concerns. We truly felt like it was all a team effort. Thank you!”
