Proposals via PlanetBids will be received by the City of Reno until 2:00 P.M. Local Time on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, for Contract Number I200024.
 
Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include:
 
Demolition of existing reclaimed water valves and piping within existing vaults, installation of new valves, flow meters and other appurtenances, installation of new electrical equipment, control panel retrofit and new panel for remote SCADA integration (integration by others).
 
The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165, enacted by the Nevada Legislature by passage of Senate Bill No. 207, setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.
 
Digital copies of the plans, specifications and related documents are available through PlanetBids (Invitation #USD-2022-03) for downloading from the City of Reno’s website http://reno.gov/business/bids-rfpsOnly those bidders who have registered as a vendor and are included in and appear on the prospective bidders list may submit a bid.
 
Important Notice: A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Reno-Stead Water Reclamation Facility (RSWRF), located at 4250 Norton Dr, in Reno, Nevada at 10:00am, on the 19th day of October, 2021, in front of the Operation Office. Prospective Bidders must have a representative attend the pre-bid meeting to be eligible to bid the project. Please bring and wear a facemask for the walkthrough.
