Proposals via PlanetBids will be received by the City of Reno until 2:00 P.M. Local Time on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2021, for Contract Number L112002-2856.
Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include:
Installation of new storm drain infrastructure including PVC pipe, RCP pipe, manholes, catch basins, and appurtenances on Watt Street and Bonnie Briar Place between Plumb Lane and Lakeside Drive. Also included is replacement of sanitary sewer main, laterals, and installation of a sanitary sewer drop manhole as well as potable water main installation and gas infrastructure adjustments. Asphalt patching and portland cement concrete curb and gutter/pedestrian ramp replacement.
The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165, enacted by the Nevada Legislature by passage of Senate Bill No. 207, setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.

Only those bidders who have registered as a vendor and are included in and appear on the prospective bidders list may submit a bid.
