Nevada Wolf Pack athletic teams are preparing for a series of competitions across multiple sports this week, with several teams entering key stretches in their respective seasons.
The Nevada Swimming & Diving team is set to compete at the 2026 Mountain West Championships from Wednesday through Saturday at the CRWC Natatorium in Houston, Texas. Scarlett Ferris will attempt to win her third consecutive 100 backstroke title. Huska Batbayar (200 freestyle) and Bailey Heydra (1-meter springboard) are returning as defending champions in their events, with Heydra aiming for a third career Mountain West title on the 1-meter board. Preliminaries begin each day at 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time, followed by finals at 4 p.m., all available for viewing on the Mountain West Network and MW App.
Men’s Basketball will play two games this week. The team travels to face San José State on Tuesday before returning home to host Utah State on Saturday night at Lawlor Events Center. Fans can watch or listen to both games through various broadcast options including local radio and streaming platforms. The team is looking to recover after a recent loss against San Diego State.
Women’s Basketball will be on the road for matchups against Colorado State on Wednesday and UNLV on Saturday. Last week, Nevada ended a seven-game losing streak with a victory over Air Force, led by Izzy Sullivan’s 17 points.
Nevada Baseball opens its home schedule with a four-game series against Utah Valley starting Thursday at Don Weir Field at Peccole Park. All games will be streamed live, and audio broadcasts will feature former player Zak Basch.
Softball faces No. 15/16 Arizona in Tucson on Tuesday before participating in the Mary Nutter Classic in Palm Springs later in the week. The tournament includes games against Oregon State, California, UCLA, and UC Riverside.
Men’s Golf begins its spring season Monday at The Prestige at PGA West in Palm Springs, competing over three days of stroke play hosted by Stanford and UC Davis.
Women’s Tennis resumes action after a break with matches at Santa Clara on Thursday and UC Davis on Saturday. The team is currently riding a two-match winning streak.
Men’s Tennis looks to end a two-match losing run as it plays UC Davis on Saturday and Pacific on Sunday during road contests.
The Nevada Skiing team heads to Park City for its final regular-season event—the Utah Invitational—spanning Sunday through Tuesday with Giant Slalom races followed by Slalom competition.
