Nevada will play against Air Force in the first round of the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championship on March 11 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network, with radio coverage available on 95.5 KNEV.

This matchup follows Nevada’s recent win over Air Force, where they secured a 74-59 victory to close out their regular season. The team finished with a record of 20-11 overall and 12-8 in conference play, while Air Force ended its season at 3-28 overall and winless in conference games.

In their last meeting, Nevada had four players score in double digits, led by Corey Camper Jr. with 18 points. Elijah Price contributed with both scoring and rebounding, while Tayshawn Comer and Vaughn Weems also reached double figures. Nevada shot efficiently from the field and maintained advantages in bench points, second-chance opportunities, and fast-break points.

Air Force was led by freshman Kam Sanders during that game, who scored 14 points along with three assists and three steals. Kolby Gilles and Eli Robinson each added twelve points for Air Force.

Several Nevada players have reached personal milestones this season. Camper Jr., after transferring from UTEP, joined the program’s 1,000-point club earlier this year. Price surpassed the mark of 500 career rebounds and set a single-game high for rebounds under head coach Steve Alford.

Looking ahead, if Nevada wins against Air Force, they will advance to face No. 4 seed Grand Canyon on March 12 at the same venue.
