Nevada’s women’s swimming and diving team is set to compete in the 2026 Mountain West Swimming & Diving Championships, which will take place from February 18 to 21 at the CRWC Natatorium at the University of Houston.

The event will be streamed live, with all preliminary and finals sessions available on the Mountain West Network and the MW App. The competition begins Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. PT with preliminaries for the 500 Freestyle, followed by finals at 4 p.m. PT that include the 1-Meter Springboard, 200 IM, 500 Freestyle, 50 Freestyle, and 400 Medley Relay. From Thursday through Saturday, prelims will continue each day at 8:30 a.m. PT with finals scheduled for 4 p.m. PT.

Nevada enters the championships holding a season record of four wins and two losses overall, including a conference record of two wins and one loss. The team has shown consistency across various events during dual meets this season.

Scarlett Ferris has been highlighted as a standout swimmer for Nevada. Last year she set a Mountain West Championship Record in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 51.49 seconds on February 23, 2024. She surpassed her own performance on January 31, 2026 by setting a new Mountain West All-Time Record in the same event with a time of 50.78 seconds.

Senior diver Bailey Heydra returns after winning last year’s Mountain West title on the one-meter springboard and is expected to contend strongly again this season.

Another returning champion for Nevada is Huska Batbayar, who previously won gold in mid-distance freestyle events and has maintained steady performances throughout this season.

Freshman Moji Pholjamjumrus has also drawn attention for her contributions in both individual races and relays during her first year with Nevada.

“We are excited to see what our team can accomplish this week,” said head coach Brendon Bray before departing for Houston. “Our athletes have worked hard all season to prepare for this championship meet.”

The Wolf Pack aims to build on its past successes as it competes against other schools in Houston.
