The Nevada skiing team began competition at the 2026 National Collegiate Skiing Championships on March 11, with events taking place at Utah Olympic Park in Park City.

The championships are significant for the Nevada Wolf Pack, as five alpine skiers—Erica Lynch, Sophia Falter, Pietro Bisello, David Morken, and Peyton Wells—are representing the university. This marks the largest group of Nevada alpine skiers to qualify for nationals since 2010.

The event started Wednesday with Giant Slalom races. The women’s runs were scheduled for 7:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. Pacific Time, while the men’s runs took place at 8:45 a.m. and noon Pacific Time. Coverage of the races is available via live stream on NCAA.com, and live results can be found at www.rmisaskiing.com.

Participants in the National Collegiate Championships are selected from designated regions across both Alpine and Nordic disciplines. For Alpine skiing, athletes come from East and West Regions; for Nordic skiing, selections are made from Central, East, and West Regions. The selection process uses a formula set by the skiing committee to allocate bids to each region. Each institution may send up to twelve student-athletes to compete—three per gender per discipline.

The competition continues Friday with Slalom events.
