Nevada Track and Field wrapped up the Wolf Pack Classic and Combined Events on Saturday, with Annalies Kalma setting a new school record in the 400-meter race. Kalma ran a time of 52.31 seconds, breaking her own previous school record and also setting facility and meet records. This performance currently ranks as the 13th fastest time in the NCAA for the event.

The competition began with the 60-meter hurdles, where Misa Holland was Nevada’s top finisher, placing 11th with a time of 9.02 seconds, narrowly missing out on qualifying for the final by three spots. Savana Chalmers finished in 18th place with a time of 9.18 seconds.

Magdalene George returned to compete in the 60-meter dash after an absence of nearly a year, qualifying for the finals with a preliminary time of 7.50 seconds and finishing fourth overall in the final at 7.42 seconds. Vivian Groppe also competed in this event, finishing in 27th place.

In addition to Kalma’s record-setting run in the 400 meters, Kylee Parsons achieved a personal best of 55.02 seconds, marking it as the sixth fastest time in Nevada history.

Halyn Senegal participated in indoor track for the first time in two years and placed third overall in the 600 meters with a time of 1:33.78.

Aubrey Thompson was Nevada’s only entrant in the women’s 3000 meters and set a personal best by finishing third with a time of 10:26.34.

Meekness Dogonyaro led throughout flight two of the triple jump competition, posting a distance of 12.77 meters to qualify first for finals and ultimately winning by more than three-quarters of a meter.

The meet concluded with several relay teams from Nevada competing in the women’s 4×400 meter relay. The A team—composed of Malena Galvan, Annalies Kalma, Kylee Parsons, and Halyn Senegal—finished second overall at 3:38.24, which is now ranked as Nevada’s second-fastest all-time mark for this event. The B team (Ovedje, Harris, Denver, Groppe) placed second in their heat at 3:50.03 while Nevada C (Diaz, Holt, Chalmers, DeMartini) won their heat with a finish time of 3:58.12.

Nevada Track and Field will next compete at the Battle Born Classic scheduled for February 13-14.
