City of Reno issued the following announcement on September 2.
The City of Reno is soliciting proposals from Construction Companies for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the Moana Springs Community Aquatic and Fitness Center in southwest Reno.  The construction cost is estimated at approximately $22,000,000 to $28,000,000.
 
The CMAR will provide the required pre-construction and construction services. Preconstruction services shall include assisting the design team with constructability matters, construction cost, value engineering, fast track options and scheduling. The construction services shall include determining a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), procurement of all subcontractor contracts, and managing construction of the project. 
 
The construction project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new community aquatic and fitness center on an existing City of Reno park parcel. The Moana Springs Community Aquatic and Fitness Center shall include three pools, a mezzanine level fitness area, two multipurpose rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, offices, and other auxiliary facility support rooms. Site improvements may include the construction of a new parking lot with improved site access and circulation, playground park relocation, utility relocation, other ancillary site work.
 
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Reno at the office of the City Clerk, 2nd Floor, One East First Street, Reno, Nevada, until 2:00 P.M. Local Time on the 28th day of September, 2021, for CMAR services for the Moana Springs Community Aquatics and Fitness Center Project.
 
mandatory pre-submittal conference will be held at the City of Reno, 1 East First Street, Reno, Nevada at 10:00 a.m., on the 14th day of September, 2021, in the City Council Chambers. Contractors seeking to submit a proposal must have a representative attend the mandatory pre-submittal conference to be eligible to submit a proposal for the project. 
 
Digital copies of the documents related to this solicitation for proposals may be examined and downloaded from the City of Reno’s website http://reno.gov/business/bids-rfps, through PlanetBids (Invitation #CP-2021-18). Paper copies of these documents may be examined at the City of Reno, Capital Projects office at City Hall, One E. First Street, 8th Floor, Reno, Nevada 89501. Some errors in printing have been observed from contractors.
