The City of Reno is organizing a community event titled ‘Movie Night at Northwest Pool’ on June 27. The event will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring the film Inside Out 2. Admission is free, thanks to Ward 5 Councilmember Devon Reese’s sponsorship. The venue can accommodate up to 125 swimmers, and early arrival is recommended for those wishing to attend.
Ward 5 Councilmember Devon Reese expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, “We’re excited to welcome the community to the Northwest Pool for an evening of fun and laughter with this animated movie. It’s a wonderful way for families to celebrate the start of summer and enjoy quality time together.”
Participants are advised to bring their own towels and goggles if needed. Free life vests will be available for use during the event. Attendees bringing flotation devices must ensure they are clear or compliant with U.S. Coast Guard standards.
The City of Reno manages three indoor aquatics facilities and two seasonal outdoor pools, which operate during warmer months with varying features and schedules.
