A woman’s body believed to be the remains of a missing 32-year-old Reno woman whose disappearance attracted national attention has been found in an a wrecked car in Del Norte County, California, NBC reported.

Courtney Bryan who had been missing for a month and her dog, Booch, were found dead by a hiker Oct. 27 at a crash site off a steep embankment on Highway 101, the network reported.

No foul play is expected. The crash occured in an area where accidents are common, NBC said.

Bryan was reported missing Sept. 27 after failing to return from a trip to hot springs at the Shasta-Trinity National Forest near Redding, California, NBC reported.

Her last Instagram post was from the springs on Sept. 23.

She was a free spirit who often traveled by herself but made sure to check in with family, her sister, Katana Curven, told Dateline in early October, NBC reported.

“My sister was found,” Curven posted online. “Thank you everyone for all your kind thoughts and prayers and effort. We are going to take this time to grieve.”
